DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
Global Therapy, Inc is currently In-Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. However, this does not mean that your insurance carrier will not cover therapy services. Payment for services is due at the time of your appointments. Global Therapy, Inc will provide you with a superbill to provide to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Please contact Global Therapy, Inc for assistance for insurance verification.
HOW LONG WILL MY CHILD NEED THERAPY?
The length of your child's therapy services will be based on several critical factors. The goal of Global Therapy, Inc is not to keep your child in therapy forever, but to provide effective therapy services based on your child's needs. While a general time line may be provided, it is important to note that all children develop speech and language skills at different times.
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK WITH GLOBAL THERAPY, SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST CIERRA HALL?
Cierra offers individualized therapy, parent training and therapy homework assignments including: word of the week, oral motor exercises, and books to read. Cierra provides in home therapy to promote speech and language skills in your child's natural environment. Parents (especially when their kids are very little) are welcome to stay in the room the whole time. Not only are home visits more convenient for your family, but you get to see how Cierra works firsthand, so you can then model her methods with your child independently. Because play in a child's natural environment is how kids learn, Cierra will observe how your child interacts with his/her toys and immediate environment, and suggest games or other ways of playing that teach specific language skills.
