Welcome! Cierra Hall, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric and early intervention speech therapy services. Cierra provides consultation, screenings, treatments , as well as speech and language evaluations on in individual bases. As a member of the American Speech- Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and is licensed with the State of Illinois and Missouri. Cierra received her Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders and Science with a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale.
She has experience with children including private practice, preschools, and early intervention. She also has experience working with adults in outpatient, home health and skilled nursing facility.
Cierra has spent the last six years working with children with various diagnosis including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia, Articulation, Receptive and/or Expressive Language Disorders. She has years of experience evaluating and treating adults with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders with varies diagnosis (e.g. Dementia, CVA, Parkinson's, and pulmonary disease. Cierra's professional experiences has resulted in a greater understanding of adapting service models and interventions to meet individual needs. Cierra has received training in TalkTools: Oral Placement Therapy Level 1 and Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices through Lingraphica.
Cierra understands in order unlock communication superpowers it is imperative to use a holistic therapy approach by using touch, sight, hearing smell, and taste. Cierra is passionate about helping children organize, integrate, and use sensory input in a fun and engaging therapy model to communicate.
